Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced SEMH LSA available Monday – Friday to support KS1 and KS2 students in a vibrant primary school based in Basingstoke from September 2026.
You must have previous experience supporting primary children with additional needs to be considered for this role.
Temporary position with the view to go permanent for the right individual.

- Previous experience working with young children in an SEMH setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Resilient and strong behaviour management skills.
- A proactive and positive attitude.
- Willingness to adapt whilst under pressure.
Requirements
- An enhanced child only DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
- Two contact references from most recent employers covering the last 24 months.
- An up to date CV outlining career history from education.
- Up to date CPD safeguarding training or willing to complete this.
- Proven experience working with SEMH children.
