An Ofsted rated “Outstanding” Secondary School in Basingstoke is seeking a passionate and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their team! This opportunity is ideal for educators who want to gain valuable classroom experience or are considering a future in teaching!

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies, and maintaining a focused and effective learning environment to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role may include providing additional support to students with special educational needs / additional needs.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working with secondary aged students
  • SEN experience / ability to support additional needs
  • Confident and adaptable in a classroom setting
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students
  • Genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people
