I’m working in partnership with a large, well-established primary school in the heart of Barry to recruit a confident, engaging, and inspiring Year 6 Teacher.
This is a full-time, term-time position (Monday to Friday, 8:40am – 3:20pm), starting 8th June through to 17th July, offering a competitive daily rate of £172.98. You’ll be stepping in to support a Year 6 class during their final weeks of primary school—helping to prepare, guide, and celebrate their transition to secondary education.
Importantly, this role also offers genuine longer-term potential. The school plans to recruit for a fixed-term position from September 2026, making this an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door and showcase your strengths within a supportive setting.
