This is not your typical classroom role. You will become a key part of a specialist provision supporting pupils with Autism, Anxiety and additional learning difficulties as they make the important transition from primary school into secondary education. You’ll help pupils settle into a new environment, build confidence, develop routines and thrive both emotionally and academically within a nurturing and structured setting.

This role is ideal for:

  • Recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience before pursuing careers in Educational Psychology, Counselling, Teaching, Speech & Language Therapy, Mental Health Support, Social Work, or Youth Work.
  • Current agency Teaching Assistants who are tired of last-minute bookings, unpredictable schedules, inconsistent work, and constantly changing schools, and are looking for a stable, full-time placement where they can build meaningful relationships and become part of a supportive school team.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
