Are you a passionate and adaptable Key Stage 1 Teacher looking for flexible work in Barnstaple and the surrounding areas? Teaching Personnel is working closely with local primary schools to recruit committed and enthusiastic KS1 Supply Teachers for September starts.
This is an excellent opportunity for ECTs or experienced teachers seeking flexibility, variety, and the chance to make a real impact across supportive school settings.
Role Details- Position: KS1 Supply Teacher
- Location: Barnstaple and surrounding areas
- Start Date: September
- Pay: £130 - £150 per day (depending on experience)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Contract: Flexible supply, short-term, long-term, full-time or part-time
- Planning Required? No - lessons are pre-planned
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stage 1
- Follow pre-planned lessons and ensure continuity of learning
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback where required
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
- Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour management
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and classroom needs
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching KS1 in UK primary schools (including placements)
- Strong classroom management and confident behaviour strategies
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
