Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 SATs Intervention Teacher to support a cluster of primary schools across Bacup and Todmorden during the crucial summer term. This role will involve working across a number of schools within the cluster, delivering targeted support where it is needed most. The position is available on either a full-time basis or mornings only, offering flexibility for the right candidate. Please note that you may be required to work across 2–3 different school sites.
The Role:
- Deliver targeted SATs interventions to Key Stage 2 pupils, focusing on raising attainment in core subjects (English and Maths)
- Work with small groups and individuals to close learning gaps ahead of assessments
- Adapt to different school settings and work effectively across multiple sites
- Monitor pupil progress and tailor intervention strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with class teachers and senior leaders across the schools to ensure consistency and impact
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
- Have experience teaching or supporting within Key Stage 2
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and SATs expectations
- Be flexible, organised, and confident working across multiple settings
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car (essential)
- Be committed to supporting pupils to achieve their full potential
