What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs
  • Creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs to achieve their full potential
  • Working collaboratively with support staff, therapists, families and the wider school team
  • Completing planning, preparation and assessment where required
  • Supporting students with personal care needs when necessary, ensuring dignity and respect at all times

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE
  • Previous experience working within an SEN setting
  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs
  • Confidence in adapting teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs
  • Willingness to undertake personal care responsibilities when required
  • A positive, proactive and flexible attitude
  • Available to work full-time, 5 days per week from September
