We're working with a number of fantastic specialist SEN schools in Aylesbury who are looking for caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their teams this September. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be supporting pupils across Primary and Secondary age groups with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Complex Needs. You'll work closely with teachers and therapists to help pupils access learning, develop independence and achieve their individual goals.
Key Requirements- Experienced working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Available to work 5 days per week from September

- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

- Help create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment
- Assist with personal care where required, always promoting dignity and independence
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and families to support pupil progress
