We are working with a fantastic SEN specialist school in Aylesbury that is looking for a passionate, dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join their supportive team from September! This is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified teacher looking for a flexible role within specialist education while making a genuine difference to the learning, confidence and development of children and young people with additional needs.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS or a recognised PGCE
- Has previous experience working within SEN/SEND or specialist education
- Is looking for a part-time role starting in September
- Can plan and deliver engaging, accessible and differentiated lessons
- Is confident supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
- Has a calm, patient and adaptable approach
- Is confident with behaviour management and creating a positive learning environment
- Is happy to support with personal care, where required
- Can work collaboratively as part of a supportive school team
- Is open to a long-term or permanent opportunity
