Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs? We are looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic SEN Learning Assistants to join specialist schools across Aylesbury on a full-time basis.
We're looking for:
- Previous SEN, education, support work or care experience
- Available 5 days a week
- Comfortable supporting with personal care where required
- A patient, calm and nurturing approach
- Someone committed to a long-term or permanent position
- A genuine passion for helping pupils learn, develop and become more independent
The role:
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support
- Supporting pupils with learning, communication and development
- Helping manage emotional and behavioural needs
- Supporting with personal care and daily routines
- Building positive relationships with pupils
- Working closely with teachers and the wider SEN team
