Job Description:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Autism and additional needs.
- Implement tailored strategies to promote communication, social skills, and emotional regulation.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to ensure inclusive learning.
- Support pupils in both classroom and non-classroom settings, adapting resources as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience supporting children with Autism and challenging behaviour.
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and communication methods (e.g., PECS, visual timetables).
- Patient, resilient, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and families.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
