Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with additional needs? Teaching Personnel Sheffield are looking for an Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant to join the workforce of a specialist school in Sheffield.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1-2-1 support to students with diverse needs (Autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and behavioural challenges).
- Support in fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
- Collaborate with the staffing team within school to ensure that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, young people or adults with special educational needs.
- Compassionate and patient character.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Ability to work with challenging behaviours.
- Driving licence is preferred but is not required if you have adequate travel arrangements.
Additional Information:
- £95-110/day - Dependent on experience and performance.
- Permanent contracts available. Full-time and part-time roles.
