Working alongside an experienced and supportive staff team, you'll play a vital role in creating positive learning experiences for pupils with a range of additional needs in a nurturing, child‑centred environment.
Your Role
As an ASC Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition.
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual communication and learning needs.
- Use visual supports, structured routines and sensory strategies to promote engagement.
- Encourage emotional regulation, social interaction and independence.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to help them feel safe and confident.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and parents to achieve EHCP targets.
- Support pupils throughout the school day, including personal care where required.

- Experience working with children or young people with ASC, SEN or complex needs.
