- Acting as a positive role model throughout the school day.
- Supporting children in managing emotions and developing coping strategies.
- Helping create a calm, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Working closely with class teachers, SEN staff and parents to ensure pupils receive consistent support.
- Encouraging confidence, resilience and independence.

- Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
- A genuine passion for supporting children who may face barriers to learning.
Ideal Applicants
- Teaching Assistants looking to specialise in behaviour support.
- Youth workers or support workers seeking a school-based role.
- Graduates considering a future career in teaching, psychology or educational support.
- Individuals with experience supporting children with SEMH, ADHD, ASD or additional needs.
This is a school that genuinely understands the importance of pastoral support.
Staff work closely together, celebrate progress and take pride in creating an environment where children feel valued and understood.
You will be joining a team that believes behaviour is communication and approaches support with patience, consistency and care.
If you're looking for a role where you can make a real difference to a child's school experience every single day, we'd love to hear from you.
