We’re looking for committed, experienced tutors in the Amersham, Buckinghamshire area who are ready to step into a role that goes beyond academics. Who You’ll Be Supporting
The majority of our referrals are secondary-aged pupils with SEMH and complex needs. Many of these students:
- Have struggled in mainstream settings
- May be out of school or on reduced timetables
- Need structured, calm, consistent support to rebuild confidence
This role is about helping young people reconnect with learning at their pace, but with clear direction.
Availability Requirements
- Minimum 10–15 hours per week
- Core hours between 8:30am–3:30pm Monday to Friday availability essential
- Consistency and reliability are absolutely key. Our students rely on routine and predictability.

- Accurately record and report attendance
- Monitor and document academic and emotional progress
