The Role:

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking multiple motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across our mainstream primary schools within the Addlestone area. The ideal educator would have experience working either 1-1 or within small groups of students either in a mainstream primary or SEN School. We are currently working with an abundance of schools and can accommodate for staff with varying levels of availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing 1:1 support to a student or small group work within a resource base
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Supporting students in completing assigned work and encouraging independent learning
  • Monitoring student progress and reporting any concerns to the class teacher

Key Requirements:

  • Passion for education and helping students succeed
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with young people
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting students
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is important
  • A willingness to learn and develop new skills (training can be provided)
