We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Accrington. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development. You will work closely with class teachers to provide high-quality support to pupils, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment where all children can thrive.
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
- Assist with planning and preparing classroom resources
- Encourage pupil participation and promote positive behaviour
- Support pupils with varying abilities, including SEND where required
- Help monitor and track pupil progress
Experience working in a primary school, ideally within KS2
A passion for education and supporting children’s development
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent)
