We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Intervention Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Accrington. This full-time position will involve working closely with the SENCo and class teachers to support pupils with a range of additional needs.
- Deliver targeted intervention sessions to support pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Work collaboratively with the SENCo and teaching staff to plan and implement adapted learning activities
- Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Adapt classroom resources to meet varying abilities and learning needs
- Monitor and track pupil progress, providing feedback to staff
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with SEN pupils in a school setting
- Strong understanding of different learning needs and support strategies
- Ability to adapt learning effectively for a range of abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
