We are seeking a dedicated Level 6 qualified Nursery Room Leader to join our welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Accrington. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the nursery room.
- Deliver high-quality Early Years education in line with the EYFS framework.
- Plan and provide engaging learning experiences that support children's development.
- Monitor, assess, and track children's progress, identifying next steps in learning.
- Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals.
- Lead, support, and motivate nursery staff to maintain outstanding practice.
- Ensure safeguarding, welfare, and health & safety standards are consistently met.
- Promote an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Qualifications
- A Level 6 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, Education or a related field.
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting.
- Experience leading or supervising a nursery team.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
