We are looking for dedicated, resilient, and positive Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with ADHD and challenging behaviours. This is a rewarding role suited to individuals who can remain calm under pressure, build strong relationships, and support pupils in managing their emotions and behaviours effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with ADHD and behavioural challenges
  • Support focus, engagement, and emotional regulation
  • Implement behaviour strategies and individual support plans
  • Use positive reinforcement and de-escalation techniques
  • Maintain structure, routine, and clear expectations
  • Support transitions and classroom participation
  • Work closely with teaching staff and SENCo
  • Help create a safe and consistent learning environment
