We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to join our team and work across a range of primary schools in the Hertfordshire area. We have opportunities available for day-to-day supply, short-term assignments, and long-term placements, with both full-time and part-time positions available.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils' learning and educational development within the classroom.
- Work alongside the class teacher to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor pupils' progress and provide feedback to the class teacher when required.
- Promote positive behaviour by following the school's behaviour policy, helping to de-escalate challenging situations, and recognising and encouraging good behaviour.
- Assist with classroom activities and provide individual or small-group support where needed.
Requirements
- An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.
- Relevant qualifications and/or previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
- A proactive, flexible, and positive approach to supporting pupils and staff.
- A willingness to undertake ongoing training and professional development as required.
