About the Role You will support pupils aged 3–19 with a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN) including: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD) Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Complex needs and sensory processing difficulties The school provides a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment, with a strong focus on personalised support, communication, and independence. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual EHCP targets Assist in delivering creative, engaging lessons alongside the class teacher Support pupils with daily routines, personal care (where required) and emotional regulation Use positive behaviour strategies to promote engagement and well-being Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff Monitor and record progress, behaviour and achievements Requirements Experience working with children or young people with SEN (education, care, or support setting) A patient, empathetic and resilient approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting inclusive education Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) desirable but not essential Why Apply Through Teaching Personnel?
