A friendly and welcoming nursery in Newcastle is seeking to appoint 2 enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners to join their team from September 2026. The successful candidates will play an important role in supporting the learning, development and wellbeing of children within a nurturing and engaging early years setting. You will help to create a safe, stimulating environment where children can learn through play, develop confidence, and reach their full potential.

We are looking for caring, reliable and positive individuals who are passionate about working with young children and can build strong relationships with both children and colleagues. The ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the daily running of the nursery is essential.

Requirements
  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years
  • Previous experience working within an early years setting is desirable
  • A positive and proactive approach to supporting children's development
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Pay: £550–£650 per week (depending on experience and qualifications)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. It is a temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent at a later date. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
