At Teaching Personnel, we are passionate about providing specialized 1-1 tuition to young people who are not currently in formal education. We are urgently seeking compassionate and dedicated tutors who share our passion for supporting education and helping children overcome barriers to learning.
Our pupils face a wide range of needs, including:
- SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) such as Autism and learning difficulties.
- Children in Care needing catch-up tuition due to disrupted schooling.
- School refusers and students with anxiety or severe mental health challenges.
- Asylum seekers who need tailored educational support.
- Pupils who have been excluded from mainstream school settings.
What We Offer:
This role is ideal for retired teachers looking for part-time work or current educators eager to use their skills outside the traditional classroom setting. As a 1-1 tutor, you’ll provide personalized support in the student’s home, as many of our pupils are not in school. Sessions typically range from 1 to 15 hours per week, offering the flexibility to fit your lifestyle.
