Are you looking for a flexible role where you can provide personalised one-to-one support outside of a traditional classroom setting?

TP Tutors is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Tutors to work with pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering targeted support that helps children develop academically while growing in confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging one-to-one tuition tailored to each child's individual learning needs.
  • Support pupils in core subjects, including English, Maths and, where appropriate, wider curriculum areas.
  • Provide face-to-face tuition in pupils' homes, local libraries or other agreed community venues.
  • Help children strengthen key skills, close learning gaps and prepare for important educational milestones.
  • Plan and adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and abilities.
  • Track progress and celebrate achievements to encourage positive outcomes.
  • Create a supportive and nurturing learning environment where children can thrive.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience working with primary-aged children in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Sound knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • The ability to engage and motivate young learners.
  • Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, encouraging and child-centred approach to learning.
  • A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
  • Mandatory Requirements
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one (support available).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
