Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming primary school in the St Austell area seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 pupil on a full-time basis.
This is a rewarding long‑term position for someone who is looking to make a genuine difference and become a valued part of a child's educational journey.
You will work closely with one pupil throughout the school day, helping them to:
- Access learning within the classroom
- Develop communication and social skills
- Build confidence and independence
- Engage positively with routines and learning activities
- Successfully navigate transitions throughout the day
- Feel safe, supported and understood
You will work alongside a supportive school team who are passionate about inclusive education and helping every child thrive.
The ideal person isn't necessarily someone with years of SEN experience.
The ideal person is someone who is:

Experience supporting children with Autism, additional needs, communication needs or SEND would be beneficial, but personality and attitude are equally important.
