We are looking for a teacher who can inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 History, delivering engaging lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking and a love of the subject.
The History Teacher Role
- Plan and deliver engaging History lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Assess, monitor and support student progress
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Inspire students through creative and engaging teaching methods
- Contribute to the wider Humanities department
- Support students in achieving strong academic outcomes in History
- Promote a passion for History beyond the classroom
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching History in a UK secondary school
- Strong classroom management skills
- A passion for History and student achievement
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
