The Role
As an SEN Tutor, you will:
- Deliver engaging one-to-one tuition tailored to individual learning needs
- Plan and adapt lessons based on learner targets and progress
- Support learners to build confidence, independence, and resilience
- Use creative approaches to overcome barriers to learning
- Monitor and record progress following each session
- Build positive relationships that encourage engagement and achievement
Essential Requirements
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN/SEND
- Background in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, teaching assistance, or educational support
- Good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and best practice
- Ability to travel across Winchester and nearby areas
- Strong communication and organisational skills
