Year 4 Teacher – Full Time – Wigan – September 2026 Start
A welcoming and well-established primary school in Wigan is seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to take responsibility for a settled KS2 class within a supportive and collaborative environment.

You will be expected to plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that support both academic progress and personal development.
The role will include
- Full classroom responsibilities including planning, marking and assessment
- Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching where necessary
- Working closely with colleagues and support staff
The ideal candidate will
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Have experience teaching within KS2 (Year 4 desirable but not essential)
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
- Be committed, reliable, and passionate about teaching
