- Functional Skills Tutor to provide personalised
1:1 tuition to Primary and Secondary-aged learners across Wigan.
The Role
- Deliver engaging 1:1 Functional Skills tuition in
English and/or Maths .
- Plan lessons according to each child's individual learning needs and abilities.
- Adapt lessons to suit different learning styles, including pupils with
SEN .
- Help learners build confidence and improve their academic progress.
- Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum
1 year's UK teaching or tutoring experience .
- Experience working with
Primary and Secondary-aged learners .
SEN experience .
- Strong knowledge of Functional Skills English and/or Maths.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.
