We are seeking a dedicated SEN Cover Supervisor to join a specialist Secondary SEN & Alternative Provision setting in Wigan. This full-time, long-term opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a rewarding environment and is committed to helping students with SEN, SEMH, and behavioural needs succeed both academically and personally.

Role Details

  • Location: Wigan
  • Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Pay: £110 – £140 per day (DOE)
  • Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence & Own Vehicle Essential

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-set lessons and supervise classroom learning
  • Support students with SEN, SEMH, and additional behavioural needs
  • Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with students
  • Create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams

  • Experience within SEN, SEMH, or Alternative Provision preferred
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
