Year 4 Teaching Assistant
Location: Garston, Liverpool (L19)
Pay Rate: £14.25 - £15.50 per hour

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Garston (L19) area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or an aspiring education professional looking to gain valuable classroom experience within Key Stage 2.
The successful candidate will support pupils in Year 4, working closely with the class teacher to help deliver engaging lessons, provide targeted interventions, and contribute to a positive learning environment where every child can thrive.
The Role:
- Supporting teaching and learning within a Year 4 classroom
- Delivering small group interventions in literacy and numeracy
- Providing one-to-one support where required
- Assisting with classroom preparation and resource management
- Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence and independence
- Supporting pupils with varying learning needs and abilities
- Always promoting positive behaviour and safeguarding
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting
- Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, reliable and enthusiastic approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a school team
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
