Here at TP Tutors, we have an immediate start for 1-1 tuition roles in the Wellingborough area. 3 pupils are in need of 30 hours of face-to-face tuition in their home. Each case would be for 10 hours per week, split across Mon-Fri. Please note hours can be flexible.

The pupils have SEN needs and would need academic support with the aim to progress educationally despite being outside of education.

The ideal candidate for this 1-1 Tutor role would have:

  • Tutor experience working with students with SEMH challenges
  • Able to implement baseline assessments to assess where the student is currently working at
  • Confident to work professionally with residential staff, Social Workers and other Local Authority professionals
  • Able to deliver engaging, innovative lessons to help keep students engaged in their education
  • Able to offer emotional support to vulnerable children where required, acting as a positive role model
  • Committed to the education of this vulnerable young person.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
