Position: Alternative Provision Tutor
Location: Fleet and nearby areas
Working Hours: Flexible opportunities available
Key Duties
- Deliver customised one-to-one tutoring sessions
- Support students with SEN including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and EBSA
- Adapt lesson content to meet individual student needs
- Build trusted and positive relationships with learners
- Deliver sessions in community venues or students’ homes
- Encourage independence, motivation, and engagement
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people preferred
- Background in tutoring, teaching, youth work, or support roles beneficial
- Calm, resilient, and adaptable attitude
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Willingness to travel across Fleet and surrounding areas
