Salary: MPS/UPS (£33,000 - £50,000 per annum) depending on experience. ECTs are encouraged to apply.
We are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Telford, to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Computer Science / Computing to join their successful department from November2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students in one of the fastest-growing subject areas, delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Experience teaching Key Stage 5 Computer Science would be advantageous but is not essential.
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver high-quality Computer Science and Computing lessons.
- Inspire students to develop problem-solving, programming and digital literacy skills.
- Plan and assess engaging lessons that support outstanding student progress.
- Contribute to the continued development of the Computing curriculum.
- Play an active role in the wider school community and extracurricular activities where appropriate.
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
- Has experience teaching Computer Science or Computing in a secondary school.
- Has strong subject knowledge, including programming and computational thinking.
- Is passionate about technology and preparing students for the digital world.
- Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
