Primary Teaching Assistant – October Start

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Camborne is seeking a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant with proven SEN and 1:1 experience to join their team from October 2025. This is a wonderful opportunity to provide vital support to pupils while working in a nurturing and collaborative school environment.

About the Role

  • Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm (term-time only)

  • Supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

  • Delivering dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with SEN and EHCPs

  • Leading small group interventions to boost progress and confidence

  • Assisting with classroom routines, organisation, and behaviour management

  • Collaborating with teachers and the SENDCo to meet individual pupil needs

What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)

  • Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs

  • Proven ability to deliver effective 1:1 support

  • Positive, reliable, and patient, with a passion for helping children succeed

  • Strong literacy, numeracy, and communication skills

  • Current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
