We’re working with a friendly and supportive Welsh‑medium primary school in Swansea seeking a full‑time Teaching Assistant to join their nursery class from September 2026. A Day in the Life… (No two days are the same!) As a Teaching Assistant in the nursery, you’ll be at the heart of the classroom, supporting young learners as they begin their educational journey. Your day might include:

  • Supporting creative play, storytelling & hands‑on activities
  • Helping children develop early language skills (through Welsh)
  • Working 1:1 or in small groups to support learning
  • Supervising outdoor play and encouraging exploration
  • Providing emotional support and building confidence
  • Assisting the class teacher with daily routines and activities

Who are we looking for? You don’t need to have been a Teaching Assistant before! We’re looking for individuals with transferable skills and the right attitude. This role would suit:
