We are seeking a resilient, compassionate and positive Social & Emotional Support Worker to work within a nurturing primary school setting in Swansea, supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Your Role
You will work closely with pupils who may:
- Struggle with emotional regulation
- Display challenging or distressed behaviours
- Find it difficult to express their needs
Your role is to look beyond the behaviour, helping children understand their emotions and develop positive strategies. A typical day could include:
- Building meaningful, trusting relationships
- Supporting 1:1 and small group activities
- Helping pupils regulate emotions and feel calm
- Supporting structured routines and transitions
- Working with staff to implement tailored support strategies
No two days are ever the same – but every day you’ll make a difference.
