Teaching Personnel is recruiting for a leading specialist education setting in Stockport, supporting children and young people with autism, complex learning difficulties, communication needs, sensory impairments, and physical disabilities. As a SEN Support Assistant, you'll provide tailored support that helps pupils develop confidence, independence, communication skills, and access to learning every day.

What You'll Do:

  • Support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
  • Encourage independence and personal development
  • Assist with communication, learning, and wellbeing
  • Work alongside experienced teachers and therapists
  • Help create a safe, positive, and engaging environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in education, care, support work, or youth work
  • A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
