Teaching Personnel is currently seeking experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work in a variety of primary, secondary, and specialist schools across Slough and the surrounding areas.
The Role
As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You will be confident leading whole-class sessions in the absence of a teacher, delivering targeted interventions, and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
- Leading small group and intervention sessions
- Supporting pupils with varying learning needs, including SEN
- Working collaboratively with teachers and school leaders
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback
- Creating a positive and engaging learning environment
What We're Looking For
- Hold a HLTA qualification or have substantial classroom experience
- Have experience supporting learning within UK schools
- Are confident managing classroom behaviour independently
- Can adapt quickly to different school settings
- Have strong communication and organisational skills
- Are passionate about helping pupils achieve their best
