The Role
As a Subject Specialist Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons within your specialist subject, inspiring students to achieve their full potential while maintaining high standards of teaching and learning. Responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in your specialist subject
- Assessing, monitoring, and supporting student progress
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Working collaboratively with department teams and senior leaders
- Contributing to the wider life of the school where appropriate
Roles are available on a day-to-day supply, long-term, and permanent basis.
Who We're Looking For
We are keen to hear from teachers who:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching their specialist subject at KS3 and/or KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management
- Are committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
- Are passionate about raising student attainment and engagement
- Are adaptable, professional, and reliable
