About the role
As a qualified Teaching Assistant you will support students in a mainstream secondary setting with different variations of Special Educational Needs.
Key responsibilities
Support students in a mainstream secondary setting, assisting in the delivery of the curriculum and ensuring inclusion and engagement for all students with SEN.
Qualifications and mandatory requirements
- A Teaching Assistant Qualification (Level 2 or Level 3)
- English and Maths GCSE
- Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willing to purchase one)
- Specific right to work documents
- 24 months worth of educational references
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- Availability Monday to Friday term time only (8:15 am β 4:00 pm)
Interview process
Interviews and trial days will be happening prior to schools breaking up for the summer holidays on July 17 2026. The ideal candidate will be available for interviews within the next week, although lack of availability will not affect your application.
