About the Pupils and Their Needs- Have autism spectrum conditions with communication or sensory differences
- Experience moderate to severe learning difficulties (MLD/SLD)
- Have speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN)
- Have social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH), including challenging behaviour
- Need support with social interaction and understanding social cues
- Have cognitive delays affecting processing and memory
- Experience sensory sensitivities and benefit from structured regulation strategies
- Feel anxious around change, transitions, or unfamiliar situations

The Role- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
- Create a structured, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Use visual supports, communication systems, and sensory strategies
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching approaches accordingly
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families
- Support behaviour positively using consistent and clear strategies
- Contribute to EHCP reviews, reports, and wider school life
- Uphold safeguarding standards and school policies at all times
- Start: Easter term (April) or September
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Hours: Full-time (part-time may be considered in some settings)
- Salary: MPS/UPS, with SEN allowance where applicable
