Are you an experienced Teacher looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference? We are working with a specialist SEMH provision in Stoke-on-Trent who are seeking an ambitious and passionate Teacher to join their team from September. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who wants more than just delivering lessons, someone who wants to have a lasting impact on young people, contribute to the development of a growing provision, and potentially take on additional leadership responsibilities.

The Role

  • You will be working with secondary-aged students within a specialist SEMH setting, supporting pupils who require a personalised, nurturing and consistent approach to education.
  • The successful candidate will:
    • Deliver engaging lessons that are adapted to meet individual learning needs
    • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils who may have experienced barriers to education
    • Support students academically, socially and emotionally
    • Create a safe and structured learning environment where pupils can thrive
    • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and the wider pastoral team

  • Is passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable young people
  • Has a subject specialism they can bring to the wider curriculum
  • Is ambitious, reflective and committed to their own professional development
