At Teaching Personnel, we're looking for motivated and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of welcoming and supportive secondary schools in and around Newcastle upon Tyne. The Role
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects
- Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher
- Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
- Supporting students with classwork and encouraging engagement
- Building positive relationships with students and school staff
- Adapting confidently to different school settings and age groups
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with young people in education, coaching, mentoring, youth work, tutoring, or similar settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in leading a classroom and managing behaviour effectively
