  • Prepare, maintain, and organize laboratory equipment and materials for science lessons and experiments.

  • Ensure the safe storage and disposal of chemicals and biological materials in accordance with health and safety regulations.

  • Assist teaching staff with practical experiments and demonstrations across biology, chemistry, and physics.

  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels and order necessary supplies.

  • Monitor and ensure the maintenance of laboratory equipment.

  • Support health and safety standards within the lab, adhering to all relevant guidelines.

  • A background in science (minimum GCSE/A-Level or equivalent qualification in a science subject).

  • Experience working in a laboratory or technical support role is preferred but not essential.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Understanding of health and safety regulations within a lab environment.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
