Safeguarding Wellbeing and Attendance Manager

We are seeking a passionate Safeguarding and Welfare Manager (SWAM) to join an SEN school in Basingstoke.

As the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the Campus, you will ensure staff are fully trained, safeguarding matters are handled efficiently, and you will play a pivotal role in improving outcomes for vulnerable students.

You will also work to improve attendance, engage families, and foster effective partnerships to reduce disaffection, anti-social behavior, and youth crime.

This role involves working closely with external agencies on safeguarding matters and contributing to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), attending SLT meetings as required., * Lead on safeguarding, ensuring all campus staff are fully trained.

• Improve attendance and engagement with vulnerable students and families.

• Collaborate with outside agencies and internal teams to ensure a safe, supportive environment.

• Support family-school partnerships to reduce behavioral issues and enhance student welfare.

• Experience in safeguarding and working with SEN students.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Enhanced DBS check required.
