As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support students in their academic and personal development while gaining invaluable experience in an educational setting. This role is particularly suited to recent Psychology graduates considering a career in education, special educational needs (SEN), or child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS)., * Provide tailored support to students with varying needs, including those with additional learning requirements or social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

Assist in the classroom under the direction of teachers, working across multiple subjects and year groups as required.

Offer one-to-one and small-group interventions to help students achieve their academic and personal development goals.

Support students with strategies to improve their emotional regulation, focus, and resilience in learning.

Develop and adapt resources to meet the needs of individual students and ensure inclusivity in the classroom.

Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff and contributing to reports for parents and carers.

Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to ensure a holistic approach to student well-being and progress.

Contribute to the school’s wider support initiatives, such as mental health awareness events, peer mentoring schemes, or social skills workshops.
