Teaching Personnel is seeking a proactive and adaptable Primary Teaching Assistant to work across mainstream primary schools in Saltburn and the wider Redcar area, supporting pupils within SEN hubs and intervention provisions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who enjoys variety and is confident working with children with a range of additional needs across different school settings.
The Role
- Supporting pupils within SEN hubs and mainstream classrooms.
- Working on a 1:1 basis and with small groups.
- Assisting children with additional learning, communication, and behavioural needs.
- Promoting engagement, confidence, and positive behaviour.
- Working flexibly across schools in Saltburn, Redcar, and surrounding areas.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children in a school, SEN, childcare, or support setting.
- A patient, caring, and resilient approach.
- Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs.
- Flexibility to travel to different schools across the local area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
