MFL Teacher – French & Spanish

Are you a passionate Modern Foreign Languages Teacher who can inspire pupils to develop confidence and enthusiasm for languages?
We are recruiting for an MFL Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Preston (PR2) from November 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher who is confident delivering both French and Spanish across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The Role
As the successful MFL Teacher, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching French and Spanish across KS3 & KS4
- Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
- Preparing pupils for assessments and GCSE examinations
- Monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback
- Creating an inclusive and positive classroom environment
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Working collaboratively with the wider MFL department
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching French and Spanish at KS3 & KS4
- Have a strong understanding of the secondary MFL curriculum
- Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management
- Be enthusiastic, organised and committed to raising pupil attainment
- Be available to start from November 2026
